JUNE BOOK CLUB: Lessons in Chemistry

by Bonnie Garmus

DATE: Wednesday, June 14th
TIME: 5:30pm

This debut novel has won many acclaims and is the story of a woman chemist in the 1960’s who is a single mom that gets a job as a host of a cooking show. Goodreads says “Laugh-out-loud funny, shrewdly observant, and studded with a dazzling cast of supporting characters, LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY is as original and vibrant as its protagonist.” For those of you who have already read it I apologize but apparently it’s an excellent book club choice! I can’t wait to turn the first page.

Bring something to eat or drink if you feel like it but in any case be sure to come!

Please invite friends who might also be interested. The more readers the better and so many people are unable to join on any given night that I don’t think we can have too many people. There are lots of book lovers on the island and it’s really nice to bring the group together. Please feel free to forward this to anyone else you can think of. All are welcome.
