Christmas Stories and Tree Lighting 2016

Those who attended the Christmas Story Hour co-sponsored by the FI Library and Union Chapel were treated to favorite holiday tales shared by island master storytellers Laura Edwards, Miggie Bryan, Tim Patterson, Bella Harris and Amy Harris. Pastor Whitman shared treat packets donated by Jane Ahrens that cleverly revealed that even holiday m & m’s can remind us of the story of Jesus’s birth. After the stories were shared, all in attendance enjoyed cookies and rich cups of hot chocolate before heading out to sing carols and light the beautiful Christmas tree on Sunday, December 4.
