Story Hour with Carol Glynn August 13
Children and their caregivers are welcome to join us at the Library Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 4:30 pm for a teaching performance by Carol Glynn.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Carol Glynn is a writer, speaker, performer, and Master Teaching Artist. She works with students K-12 in dozens of classrooms each year and is a sought-after speaker and seminar leader.
The Connecticut Commission on the Arts recognizes Carol as a Master Teaching Artist and a Higher Order Thinking Schools artist. She has been awarded the Distinguished Residency Artist Award by the Connecticut Alliance for Arts Education.
Her extensive work with the Penny Ante Theater, Creative Arts Parenting Programs, STAR (Support Those At Risk Teens), Prevention Players and other social organizations has lead her to performing and teaching in places as diverse as New York City’s Lincoln Center for Performing Arts and the Connecticut State Prison System.
Author of Learning On Their Feet, A Sourcebook for Kinesthetic Learning Across the Curriculum, K-8, published both in the U.S. and Australia, she presents keynote speeches and seminars internationally.
