BOOK CLUB: The Light We Carry

With FI School graduation on Wednesday, June 26th, we’ve moved Book Club to Tuesday, June 25th. Thanks to Patty Norton who picked our June book – The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times by Michelle Obama.

Patty suggested this book because she’s reading it and enjoying it and we thought it would be nice to try something new. Essentially this is a self-help book and while I don’t believe we’ve chosen one of those in quite a while, we all decided it would be interesting to hear what this former first lady suggests as a way of handling these crazy times we live in. Just FYI this book is not a political book since the author is the first to emphasize that we are all more alike than different.
