SPEAKER SERIES: Chef Geoff Tracy

Presented at the Fishers Island Library on August 5, 2025 Chef Geoff Tracy shared reflections from a 25-year career in the restaurant business.

Geoff Tracy, a 1995 graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in theology, went on to earn top honors at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. In 2000, he opened the original Chef Geoff’s in Washington, DC.

Today, his restaurant group welcomes hundreds of thousands of guests each year and employs more than 250 dedicated professionals. Geoff’s path is a testament to how passion, education, and leadership can come together to create lasting success.
