
AUTHOR TALK AUG 19: Rick Moody
In partnership with the Fishers Island Library, Lighthouse Works welcomes former Island resident and bestselling author Ricky Moody, who will be reading from his new novel at the Ordnance – joined in engaging conversation with Library board member Anna Noyes and a community Q&A session.

Rick Moody is the author of six novels (including THE ICE STORM, filmed by Ang Lee in 1997), three collections of stories (including DEMONOLOGY), and three works of non-fiction, including the award-winning memoir, THE BLACK VEIL. He teaches at Tufts University, and writes regularly about music for SALMAGUNDI magazine. He is at work on a new novel.
This program is co-hosted by Lighthouse Works and presented as part of the Harry S. Parker III Visiting Artist Program, which brings distinguished writers and artists to Fishers Island to engage with Lighthouse Works Fellows and the island community.
