SPEAKER SERIES JULY 1: Walking the Camino de Santiago

Join Islanders Ace Ahrens, Oliver Scholle, and Ted Rogers at the Library for an evening of storytelling, photos, and reflections from their recent adventure along the Portuguese route of the Camino de Santiago.

Inspired while walking the fairways of the Hay Harbor golf course, these three Fishers Islanders, along with Mark Franklin, decided to try their hand at walking the centuries-old Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.

In October, they walked over 120 miles of the Portuguese route. From breathtaking scenery to moments of personal discovery, hear highlights from a journey that was as challenging as it was rewarding.
