The Fishers Island Library’s Annual Appeal is underway . . . click here to read this year's letter from our Board.

And the winner is Ben! Congratulations and thank you again to Laura Edwards for creating and donating this beautiful quilt for the library.

We’ve expanded our outdoor space with new furniture! The garden provides internet access, abundant seating on the walls and at shaded tables and chairs as an alternative to the Library’s indoor spaces for work, reading, meeting or relaxing.

With support from a generous grant from the Jeanann Gray Dunlap Foundation, the Library was able to donate new laptops to help some of our school children.

We know the Library is a critical resource for New Yorkers of all ages, which is why the New York Public Library has taken steps to expand access to online offerings while  branches are temporarily closed. New York residents can…

This assistance for Trivia Night at the Pequot was very much appreciated as it ensured that all the monies raised that night went directly to supporting our beloved library.

The Fishers Island voters overwhelmingly approved Proposition 2 that will deliver needed funds to our beloved Library.

After nine months of work, the renovations are nearly complete and the positive reactions have been totally gratifying.
